About

We build tools for people who fix things.

Falcon Bill is a small team making a deliberately small app for tradespeople and crews of up to five. Not a CRM. Not a platform. Just the four records you actually run on.

We started Falcon Bill after watching good contractors lose hours every week to software meant for someone else. The field-service suites were built for commercial ops teams with dispatchers. The generic invoice apps couldn't handle a job that spans three visits and two properties. Neither fit.

So we built the thing we couldn't buy, small enough for a solo operator, capable enough for a five-person crew, honest about its limits.

We work the way we hope you run your business: ship what you said you'd ship, answer the phone, own your mistakes. The team is small on purpose, the roadmap is visible, and every decision we make lives in the repo beside the code.

If that matches how you run your business, we'd love to have you on the beta.

How we work

Principles we keep reaching for.

  • Small on purpose

We'd rather build fewer features that work perfectly than a surface area we can't maintain.

  • Write it down

Every PRD, every data model, every decision is in the repo. New teammates can read our brain.

  • Ship for the field

We test from a phone in a van, not from a laptop at a desk. If it isn't usable one-handed, we haven't shipped yet.

  • Own the bug, then own the fix

When something breaks we tell you, we patch it, and we write the follow-up into a test so it stays dead.

  • Price one way

Flat monthly plans. No per-seat tricks, no per-invoice fees, no upsell banners the day your trial ends.

  • Your data, always portable

If you ever leave, you leave with everything, clients, jobs, documents, photos. No hostage-taking.

Commitments

What we promise the people on our beta.

  • We'll answer support emails from a human within one business day
  • We'll publish the roadmap and keep it current
  • We'll never sell your data or run third-party ad trackers
  • We'll give 30 days' notice before any price change
  • We'll keep a permanent free tier for the smallest operators
  • We'll keep CSV import and export working, forever
  • We'll write release notes in English, not marketing
  • We'll listen harder to paying customers than to investors
Get in touch

Curious? We read every email.

Tell us about your shop, ask a question, or poke at the roadmap.

I like that when I email the team I get a person back. Whoever fixes it is the person who shipped it. That's what I signed up for.

About the company.

  • Who's behind Falcon Bill?+

A small team of engineers and a designer, all based in the US, who have each done their own tradesperson side work and felt the pain of billing from a phone at 11pm.

  • Are you VC-backed?+

We're bootstrapped today. If we ever raise, we'll say so publicly before we do, and we'll hold the product's plain-English pricing to the wall.

  • What happens to my data if you shut down?+

We'd give at least 90 days' notice, keep exports working, and publish a CSV snapshot of every workspace. Shutdown plans shouldn't be a surprise.

  • Do you hire?+

Occasionally. We post openings on the contact page. We're looking for people who've worked in the trades or lived near someone who does.
